Town travelled to Paignton Torbay for a Mixed Friendly hoping to maintain their run of good form but the home side had other ideas as they won by 52-76. In the early stages the match Town held their own but the turning point was on Keith Baston’s rink where a 5-3 advantage at 5 ends was lost as the home side racked up 21 shots in the next 8 ends to lead 5-24. On David Thorne’s rink a 3-14 half time deficit was pulled back to 5 shots whilst Keith Brayne’s trio traded shots equally throughout the match but just missed out by 3 shots.
