Town’s league woes continued when current leaders Kingsbridge Park came across town. An upset looked on the cards at half time as Town was leading 26-20 but Park came on strong in the second half to claim all 8 match points.
Keith Brayne’s rink was 6-1 up after 6 ends but Park pulled back to 8-all at the break. A very tight second half was played but Town were pipped at the post by a single shot. On Keith Baston’s rink Town held a 10-5 lead at half time but a run of 7 shots in 5 ends in the 2nd half gave the visitors a 3 shot win. Similarly, Kevin Moore’s rink was 10-4 up at the break but Park came storming back with 5 doubles to win by 5 shots.
