Town visited near neighbours Kingsbridge Park knowing that a win would take them to the top of the table and they did not disappoint as they won by 40-26, taking 4 league points to Park’s 2.
David Thorne’s rink took a 9-3 lead at the half way stage and then 10 sots in the next 4 ends to win by 25-7. Eric Fitch’s trio were involved in a much closer game, 6-all at half time but a count of 6 was dropped on the 12th end and this made the difference as they lost by 4 shots.
