On Monday 16 May, Town were entertained by Stoke Fleming in their first match of the season in the South Hams Triples League and they came out on top after a closely fought match by 29-22, gaining 6 league points. Keith Baston’s rink was level after 12 ends but 6 shots in the next 3 ends made the difference. The other rink, led by Eric Fitch, always had their noses in front and finally won by 2 shots.
