Kingsbridge Town celebrated the 90th birthday of their President, Pierre Verniquet this week with the presentation of a personalised cake and a card signed by all the members. Pierre still enjoys playing bowls and he is looking forward to playing in the club’s centenary year next season. He thanked all the members for the presentation and said how he took pleasure in being the longest serving player, having played for the club for 40 years and served as treasurer for 20 years.
