Town travelled to Plymstock for a mixed triples match and although 2 rinks won, it was not enough as the home side won by 55-71. Town’s most successful rink, skipped by Kevin Moore, was involved in a close match but a count of 7 shots on the final end gave them a 23-12 victory. Tim Lewis’s rink held an 8-6 advantage at the halfway point and although Plymstock pulled level at 13-all, 4 shots on the last 2 ends made the difference. The rinks led by Keith Baston and David Thorne had afternoons to forget as they went down by 19 and 12 shots respectively.
