Town travelled to Plympton for a Mixed Triples Match where a very close match ensued with Town again losing out by a small margin as the home side won by 57-65.
On David Thorne’s rink the scores were very close but 6 shots by Town in the last 2 ends gave them an 8 shot victory. Tim Lewis’s rink was 16-7 up after 12 ends but the hosts came back to reduce the margin to 3 shots. Keith Baston’s rink was 10-11 after 14 ends but 7 shots were dropped in the next 2 ends and this proved decisive. Keith Brayne’s rink came up against a very strong trio as a 4-12 interval lead was extended to 8-22 at the close.
