Yealmpton were the visitors on Friday 16 June for a match in the South Hams Triples League. After a slow start, Town pulled ahead to lead by 12 shots, 25-13, at the half way stage. In the 2nd half, Town really put the foot down, outscoring the visitors by 36 shots to 4 to win overall by 61-17. Town therefore gained 6 league points.
On Geoff Bulbulian’s rink, the home side led by 8-5 after 7 ends but 26 shots were scored including counts of 5 and 6 as Town won by 27 shots. Similarly, on Eric Fitch’s rink, Town were 7-8 down after 8 ends but they went one better than the other rink as they scored a count of 7 in the next end, finally winning by 17 shots.
