Last week Town held a Games Evening at the Clubhouse on Eastern Backway. 14 players competed in 5 games made up of shuffleboard, quoits, table curling, magnetic darts and bar skittles. The highlight was a 14-4 thrashing for club champion Keith Baston on the curling board by his wife Carole who doesn’t even play bowls!
The evening was arranged by Keith and Sandra Brayne. Three of the games were made by Keith in his workshop. The winner was David Peters who won a tie-breaker on the dartboard against Michael Lidstone . Chairman Ray Lancaster thanked Keith and Sandra for a very entertaining evening.
